Hello,
Here is the low down on your exit project.
20% of final mark.
Part 1 - Reflection
Answer the following 3 questions thoughfully, reflectively and insightfully in any way that gives me your answers.
1. What have you learned in Grade 10 music?
2. What have you enjoyed about Grade 10 music?
3. If you had to do it all over again, what things would you do differently and why?

Part 2 - Public performance
Pick a musical performance for the class or for a select audience, show me what you can do on an instrument. Performance for class is earlier, theatre audience performance is due last day of classes. If you miss your performance opportunity it up to you to make arrangements for a performance during your regularly scheduled exam time for Grade 10 music, (either a Wednesday or Thursday).

Here's an update for music 10. We will be finishing Baroque era this week and recording Beethoven's 5th as a class as well. Next week will be classical era and a performance of the student's own compositions. It is my hope that we will be done Romantic era the week after next so that after Easter we will be starting a new unit on blues and the guitar. Questions, concerns? Welcome to Music 10 - Semester 2

Hello Grade 10 music students, Parents and Guardians.
Gr 10 music is a continuation of Gr 9, but harder and requiring more self-discipline. There will be some changes to the standard structure of the course this year as there are 2 gr 10 periods running this semester and not enough instruments for 2 classes. As a group we will do our best and be as considerate of each other as possible making the best of this situation. Please check this site regularly, weekly at least as I will be posting notes, interesting videos, and recordings of students work. Feel free to comment and add your own ideas. I am looking forward to meeting you all for an excellent semester. I hope that we will have an opportunity to share our talents at 2 possible performances (Fine Arts night in May and a concert in June).
