New Unit

We are starting guitar next week with a focus on blues history. If you have your own acoustic guitar feel free to bring it in. Advance guitar players will work on their own pieces and be responsible for teaching something like a riff or technique to the class. I am excited about this new unit. Students will also be composing their own blues and performing them. I hope to have them recorded . Stay tuned for recording uploads of performances.

First Group Performance

We performed our first group piece, what a wonderful world in music class on Friday. Here is a picture of some performers. I am trying to figure out how to post the sound files. Hope they will be done soon. Next Tuesday, Oct 16, there is no school for students as teachers are getting some professional development. Have a great weekend.

Very Exciting News

Great news. I have the pleasure to announce a field trip for the students in fine arts at OHS. We will be attending a musical "Forever Plaid" on Oct 19. Students will have to pay $10, and bring their own lunch. They will miss Period 2-4, and will be expected to make up the work that they miss. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions (winnie.hsu@nbed.nb.ca, or 357-4015).
Cheers
Ms. Hsu

PS: I will post a copy of the permission slip later, money and slips are due to me by Oct 5th.
